Campus Administrator
Location: East Orange Campus
Reports to: Senior Director of Operations
Position Summary:
The Campus Administrator of the East Orange Campus is a full-time position which manages and oversees the daily operations of the campus. These duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide day to day operational oversight of all campus programs (Support, Education and Therapy) consistent with agency policies and priorities.
- Hire, oversee and evaluate program staff in terms of their performance responsibilities and productivity in achieving the agency’s priorities and results.
- Ensure programs meet all established accountability standards (including FCAT, AYP, IEP Goals).
- Ensure positive customer satisfaction with programs.
- Ensure compliance with appropriate regulations and licenses.
- Ensure health, safety and operations of facilities.
- Establish and promote high performance standards and expectations for all students and staff.
- Create and maintain a positive environment for staff, students and families.
- Develop and successfully implement annual budget including ensuring campus operates at full capacity.
- Assist in the development, implementation and marketing of new Charter School vision, program and facility including working with various stakeholders, consultants and UCP leadership.
- Develop and ensure effective implementation of research projects.
- Be visible in the community and develop relationships with all community stakeholder including families, University of Central Florida, Research Park partners, etc. through interaction and effective communication.
- Keep senior management informed of campus critical issues and incidents.
- Responsible for professional development and keeping up to date on current research, trends and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public or Business Administration preferred
Competencies: Knowledge of educational standards and best practices and computer/technology literate
Experience: Five (5) years or more experience managing a school, childcare center or healthcare facility preferred with a minimum budget of $3 million dollars and 50+ team members. Experience developing a major new project/program preferred.
