Qualifications
At UCP of Central Florida, an overwhelming sense of love, compassion and knowledge flows from the doors at each of our centers. This atmosphere is truly created by our experienced and passionate staff of experts including teachers and teacher's assistants, physical, speech, and occupational therapists, nurses, Family Services Specialists, and administrative staff.
We are committed to employing the most talented and knowledgeable team around. Some minimum requirements for our staff include:
- Teachers - BA level or above in Early Childhood/Special Education and eligible for certification.
- Physical and Occupational Therapists - BA in field and licensed in the state of Florida.
- Speech Language Pathologists - Masters in Communicative Disorders and licensed in the state of Florida.
- Lead Teacher's Assistant - CDA or Associate Degree (AA) in Early Childhood.
- Teacher Assistant - High School Diploma or GED and experience working with young children or children with special needs.
- Family Services Specialist - BA level in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
